R finished summer baseball two weeks ago, and I just finished up a weekend of fun travel and a full week of work travel. I have a lot of blog backlog! (I haven’t learned how to accomplish this while traveling yet.) I’ll apologize in advance for posting about our August adventures in September, but I really hope to catch up in the next couple weeks. I am also trying to learn how to structure the posts/pages, but I am enjoying the task!
Anyway, my schedule has blessed me with an open window for a fresh attempt to work through a training program for a 5k. Week 1 Day 1 was a success, but the app I was using crashed in the middle of the 32 minute experience. I managed to re-start, and stay pretty much on track (without falling down while multitasking with my phone during a “run for 1 minute and 30 seconds segment”). Success all the way around!
It wasn’t really fun and was more than a little boring. I may have to try out the Zombies, Run! app! I am committed to chalking up Week 1 Day 2 on Friday, so stay tuned…
